Professional Experience:
Monitoring the volume stock and flow of foreign direct investment (FDI) in the countries, through compiling data from surveys and financial statements, and disseminating the data of FDI in cooperation with the Central Banks, and the related ministries and authorities.
Deriving statistical tables to meet the needs of international organizations such as IMF Special Data Dissemination System (SDDS) requirement for balance of payments (BOP), Coordinated Direct Investment Survey (CDIS), and IIP data according to Balance of Payments Manual, 6th Edition (BPM6).
Preparing the operational FDI data for the requirements of the United Nations Commission on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), data related to foreign affiliates trade in services (FATS), reconciliation of data on trade in services collected for IMF needs in the manual on Statistics on International Trade in Services (SITS), in addition to data required for trade negotiations with other countries under the guidance of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
Preparing the internal quarterly and annual (sectoral and geographical) reports for the FDI enterprises by extracting the financial analysis, Economic ratios, and then conducting the economic policies for investment promotion strategy in Egypt.
Participating & providing professional expertise (Technical Assistance) in related activities of the international & regional organizations such as IMF, Middle East Technical Assistance Center (METAC), and Economic & Social Commission for West Asia (ESCWA), Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) and Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCCSTAT).
