Immediately establishing direct contact between heads of Saudi government and regional leadership at Amazon to resolve legislative barriers leading to key wins across issues of logistics, tax and e-commerce compliance.
Proactive engagement of Saudi-specific industries to leverage Amazon’s platform to successfully expand Saudi products globally.
Successfully advocating for Amazon Saudi Arabia to join key permanent private-public committees and councils in Saudi Arabia.

Lead negotiator for the Investment Chapter of concluded FTA agreement with Pakistan in September 2023 – a landmark agreement and the first FTA for GCC countries in over a decade.
Lead negotiator for investment treaties with Hungary, Greece, Kuwait,Switzerland, Morocco, UK, and Hong Kong.
Developing MISA’s strategy for Saudi investor support in Africa including budgeting, and technical roadmap for proposed agreements.

Advisor for several inter-ministerial mandates including the Royal mandates on resolving challenges facing investors in Saudi.
Lead the Saudi FDI mandate by the Royal Court including the task of heading the MISA team coordinating with over 25 government stakeholders on preparing the corresponding study addressing the main risks facing Saudi FDIs.
Worked with MISA’s team to draft and approve the Saudi Model for Investment Promotion and Protection.

Worked on editing English version of Saudi laws before moving into conducting research and finally providing expert opinion on several issues, including international trade, economic and industrial policy, and foreign policy.
2002-7: Editor at the Official translation department at the Bureau.
Worked on editing English translations of all approved Saudi laws in addition to editing the English translations of key government documents including Saudi Arabia’s Article of Accession to the World Trade Agreement in 2005.
2007-2019: Researcher at the research unit within the Bureau helping research international laws and best practices to be applied to the drafting of Saudi laws, including the redrafted Law of the Judiciary issued in 2007.
Part of the legal team researching international laws and treaties related to Saudi’s maritime space and islands leading to the Maritime Demarcation Agreement between Saudi Arabia and Egypt in 2016.
